Move is not a huge surprise, but still reps the end of an era for Fox.

“24” helped usher in Fox’s ratings surge in the 2000s, as the franchise -- along with “American Idol” and “House,” among other series -- led the network’s adults 18-49 ratings crown.

But the cost of producing “24” has continued to increase, while ratings have dipped. A one-time critical darling, “24” has also received its share of knocks from reviewers this season.

The studio is said to be considering shopping “24” to other nets -- but given the thriller’s age and price tag, it’s believed that the interest from other outlets will be limited.

TV?? Johnson agreed to more than a four-year deal Monday. The Bengals gave
their starting tackle an exclamation point to cap off his comeback

I?ve reached a certain level of trust in this league; an

Bengals are talking to Terrell Owens? That's gibberish. It's complete
nonsense. It's true, but that doesn't make it logical or smart. Terrell
Owens is poison, plain and simple. You know how John Mayer called his
former girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, "sexual napalm"? Mayer meant that
as a compliment. Well, I'm calling Terrell Owens "locker room napalm."
I mean that as an insult. Owens destroys locker rooms everywhere he
goes, alienating quarterbacks and coaches and fans. For a guy who
doesn't beat up women or kill dogs or drive drunk, he's still one the

baseball - which has a statistic for everything and a theory for

his four years in Cincinnati, Arroyo leads the world in starts. He has
never missed one. He leads the National League in innings over that

Arroyo takes the ball and curves it. days after being selected as one of two unanimous selections to the BIG
EAST Conference All-Rookie Team, University of Cincinnati freshman
guard Lance Stephenson (Brooklyn, N.Y./Lincoln) was named the league?s
Rookie of the Year, the conference office announced.

Stephenson
is the first UC men?s basketball player to earn the distinction since
the Bearcats joined the BIG EAST in 2005-06. He joins DerMarr Johnson
(1999-00 ? Conference USA), Danny Fortson (1994-95 ? Great Midwest
Conference), and Dontonio Wingfield (1993-94 ? Great Midwest
Conference) as the only players in program history to earn
freshman/rookie/newcomer of the year honors.

The preseason BIG
EAST Rookie of the Year, Stephenson led all BIG EAST freshmen in
scoring in overall (12.0 ppg) and conference-only games (12.1 ppg). He
also finished in the Top 5 overall among league freshmen in rebounds
(5.3 rpg/4th), steals (1.0 spg/5th), and assists (2.4 apg/4th).
Four
times this season, the 6-foot-5 guard from Brooklyn, N.Y., has been
named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week, the most by any incoming player.
Stephenson won the weekly award the last two weeks of the regular
season after averaging 16.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game over UC?s
last four contests. He also added 11 assists and five steals during the
stretch.

Stephenson committed to the Bearcats this past summer
after a highly-decorated prep career at Lincoln High School (Brooklyn,
N.Y.), where he averaged 28.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists to
earn Class AA New York State Sports Writers Association (NYSSWA) Player
of the Year honors his senior year. He graduated high school as the
all-time leading scorer in the history of the state of New York with
2,946 points, passing fellow Lincoln High grad Sebastian Telfair, who
was the 13th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft and now plays for the
Cleveland Cavaliers.

The BIG EAST Rookie of the Year award was
presented between Day 1 sessions of the BIG EAST Championship Presented

Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL?s Montreal Canadiens and
Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have completed a
trade with the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL) that sends forward Mark
Voakes and defenseman Scott Marchesi in exchange for future
considerations.

Voakes, 25, is in his rookie season and played in
24 games with the Cyclones - netting eight goals and seven assists for
15 points and a +8 plus/minus rating. Marchesi, 26, in his second
season, played in 17 games for Cincinnati after being acquired from
Gwinnett (as the future considerations in the Mike McLean reassignment)
on February 1 - assembling a goal and three assists for four points and
a +6 plus/minus rating.

The ECHL trade deadline arrives on Friday
(March 12) and for the fourth straight year, the Cyclones have made a
deal as the date approached. Exactly one year ago (March 9, 2009),
Cincinnati was involved in what would become a seven player deal to
bring Mac Faulkner and Gerard Miller into the fold. On March 4-5, 2008,
the Cyclones received Cody Rudkowsky and Jeremy Swanson as part of two
different deals that involved five players. On February 14, 2007, the
deadline deal brought Travis Lisabeth and Mike Wirll to the Queen City
in a five player swap.

The Kelly Cup Playoffs are coming! Tickets
for the 2010 Cincinnati Cyclones postseason will soon be on sale. The
Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3.
Selected Friday night games are carried on 1530-AM Homer, while all 72
regular season games can be heard on the club?s website at:
www.cycloneshockey.com. The next game on ESPN 1530 will come Friday,
March 19, when the Cyclones travel to Toledo at 7pm.

*******************

NBA coming to Cincinnati in October....The
Cleveland Cavaliers, led by NBA MVP and Perennial All-Star Lebron
James, are coming to U.S. Bank Arena to take on the Philadelphia 76ers
on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in an NBA preseason game. This will be one
of the few times Cincinnati residents will be able to see the NBA live
in their home town. James will team with fellow All-Star and former MVP
Shaquille O?Neal, guard Mo Williams, and recently acquired forward
Antawn Jamison, as they go head-to-head against the 76ers big guns,
Andre Iguodala and forward Elton Brand.

*******************
